Carries more. Tows more. How much more can you ask of a heavy-duty pickup that carries more payload and tows more than any other vehicle in its class? For the capability you need on the toughest jobs you tackle every day, Super Duty is the pickup that can do it all.
The Ford Super Duty rules in the high-torque performance needed for hauling and towing huge loads. The 6.2L V8 Petrol with its best-in-class torque delivers heavy work-capable muscle and is available on the F-250 and F-350. Need a durable, powerful diesel? The 6.7L V8 Diesel engine F-450 is ready to join your workforce - another class leader in horsepower and torque.
The Super Duty is the hardest-working Ford heavy-duty pickup ever. But while your truck is built to work hard, available technologies such as BLIS® (Blind Spot Information System) with Cross-Traffic Alert and Trailer Tow, Trailer Reverse Guidance and SYNC 3 help you work smarter and more productively. These are optional features you can get on Super Duty XL and XLT models.
Ford Super Duty has the best-in-class payload and conventional tow ratings - plus a gross combination weight rating that is also best in class. The F-250 and F-350 deliver exceptional capability when it comes down to towing the really big loads, with best-in-class conventional, Gooseneck or 5th-wheel towing. And Super Duty offers class-exclusive Trailer Reverse Guidance that helps make manoeuvring big trailers a difficult task of the past.
A lighter body with a stronger frame and Chassis. Cut down the body weight of the previous-generation Super Duty with high-strength, military-grade, aluminium alloy. Reinvest the weight savings in a stronger high-strength steel frame and chassis components. This puts the muscle where it really counts to work for you on a tough job site or on rugged off-road terrain.
The Super Duty has the only high-strength, military-grade, aluminium-alloy body in its class. Aluminium alloy is substantially lighter than the previous body, yet it is remarkably strong. It is also more dent-and-ding resistant and not subject to red rust corrosion.
You will appreciate the convenience of Super Duty interior design when you need to carry cargo and other items inside the cab. Both the SuperCab and Crew Cab models have a class-exclusive rear flat load floor that helps make it easy to load large cargo. The SuperCab features rear hinged doors that open 170 degrees for easy loading. And the four-door Crew Cab offers a folding lockable under-seat box for storing loose items or things you would want to keep concealed and secure.
Super Duty comes with standard AdvanceTrac with Roll Stability Control (RSC) and Trailer Sway Control on both single- and dual-rear-wheel models. Both systems use gyroscopic sensors and apply a combination of reduced engine power and selective wheel braking to help maintain the stability of the vehicle and the trailer in tow. The F-450 model has the largest four-wheel anti-lock brake routers in its class to ensure stopping power when you need it.
