The Lincoln Way® app is a mobile application that allows Lincoln vehicle owners to connect with their vehicles, access information, and utilize features for an enhanced ownership experience.
Features include remote start, remote lock and unlock, vehicle status checks (like fuel level, odometer reading and tire pressure), vehicle location.
Yes, you’ll need to create a Lincoln Way® account to access the app’s features and connect to your vehicle.
After creating an account, follow the prompts in the app to add your vehicle. You may need to enter your VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) and ensure your vehicle is compatible.
Oil life, tire pressure, and odometer features can be found in “Service” tab.
You can reset your password by selecting the “Forgot Password?” option on the login screen and following the instructions.
Yes, Lincoln takes your privacy seriously and employs robust security measures to protect your data.

"As a safety precaution, Lincoln Way® will only let you Remote Start the vehicle twice in a row or once if you use Extend feature. On the third attempt, you will see a pop-up notification (too many remote requests have occurred…) requiring you to drive the vehicle manually (or physically start the vehicle to reset the built-in counter).
Note: When Engine bonnet is open, Lincoln Way® will not allow Remote start (bonnet has to be closed for safety reasons). Should a cabin door be ajar when Lincoln Way® Remote Start is activated, the vehicle will attempt the locking cycle (with ajar warning), and the Remote Start function will still operate successfully."
Remote lock command only locks the doors and will not close your Panoroof if it is open.

Yes, if you have registered for a FordPass® account for the given country you are going to use the app, you can simply log-in using the same FordPass® credentials for Lincoln Way® as well.

To reset your password using Lincoln Way®:
1. Open the Lincoln Way® app.
2. Access the login screen.
Note: Select the Account > Log out options if you are currently logged in.

2. Tap Forgot Password?.
3. Enter your email address in the Email field.
4. Tap Request Code. An email will be sent to the email address associated with your account. If you do not see the email, check your spam/junk folder.

Check the VIN:
Check the VIN you entered.
Ensure you entered the correct VIN.

Try the Scan VIN option:
Select the camera icon on the Add Vehicle screen.
You will have the option to automatically add the VIN by scanning the VIN barcode on your door label.

Log in to the Lincoln Way® app.
If you already have a vehicle selected, tap the Garage icon in the top right-hand corner of the Lincoln Way® app.
Note: The garage will load by default if you have not previously selected a vehicle.
Tap the Add Vehicle button.
Press one of the following options on the pop-up message:
Selecting Allow will allow Lincoln Way® to access your phone's camera.
Note: Scan window will appear to capture your Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) and route you to the Vehicle screen.
Selecting Don't Allow will prevent Lincoln Way® from accessing your camera and you will need to type in your VIN.
Tap Enter VIN Manually.
Note: If you need help locating your VIN, tap the Find Your VIN link.

Your vehicle should appear in the Vehicle Garage. Note: Max of 10 vehicles can be added to the account.

1. Secure your email used to register with Lincoln Way® to prevent others from accessing it.
Important: This may trigger a sign-out on other devices and applications. This helps to ensure no unauthorized person has access to your email.
2. Perform a Lincoln Way® Connect Reset to remove user authorizations.
3. Obtain a new or temporary device that is compatible with Lincoln Way®.
4. Download Lincoln Way® from App Store® or Google Play™.
5. Open Lincoln Way® and initiate a password reset.
6. Enter your new credentials on the Lincoln Way® login screen after resetting your password.
7. Check your vehicle list once Lincoln Way® loads.
8. Proceed to activate your vehicle again for command-and-control access.
Important: Only grant vehicle activation permission to accounts you know and trust.
