The Foton staff bus is designed with stability and performance in mind, having undergone rigorous testing through over 100,000 km of vehicle tests and CAE simulation experiments in extreme conditions, including high and low temperatures and low-tension environments. It has successfully passed professional assessments on long and bumpy roads, ensuring it meets the highest standards. Before delivery, the bus goes through a comprehensive evaluation process, including 20 commissioned tests and 20 quality checks on a professional test track. In terms of capability, the staff bus excels on a variety of challenging terrains such as cobbled roads, rocky paths, and twisting routes. It comes with a quality commitment that guarantees excellent performance for over 1.5 million km without major overhauls, alongside a super-long maintenance interval of 100,000 km.
The FOTON bus is equipped with a highly efficient dynamic system that prioritizes energy savings without compromising performance. It features the YC6A240 engine, delivering 240 HP (177 kW) and an impressive torque of 900 N.m, paired with a 6-speed ZF Technology manual transmission. This configuration adheres to Euro 4 exhaust emission standards, promoting environmentally friendly operation. The bus’s leading lightweight and modular design reduces the number of parts by 50%, enhancing reliability and simplifying servicing. This design also contributes to improved downhill control, ensuring safer vehicle operation while extending the service life of the brakes and reducing maintenance costs. Additionally, the BOSCH electronic control high-pressure common rail system, combined with SCR post-processing, optimizes fuel efficiency. Enhanced cooling, lubrication, and air-flow systems feature high-efficiency intake and exhaust ports, further improving air flow and reducing fuel consumption.
The FOTON bus showcases a streamlined design characterized by dynamic and concise features that create a strong visual impact, exuding a modern and high-tech appeal. The side tail window features a backward-pressed design, perfectly complementing the elegant shape of the tail fins. Additionally, the bus is equipped with crystal head lights that integrate halogen and LED light sources, striking a balance between aesthetics and economy. The rear light incorporates a dot-matrix LED light belt design, enhancing the overall contemporary look while ensuring visibility and safety on the road.
