The six-speed electronic automatic transmission of the Lincoln MKS gives you smooth, barely perceptible gear changes and allows you more control over shifting when you want it. It operates like a normal automatic transmission, but also allows you to override automatic mode for up shifting and down shifting.The Available Adaptive Cruise Control uses advanced radar technology with a network of sensors to allow the Lincoln MKS to slow when approaching another vehicle and accelerate again to preset speed and distance settings when traffic allows.
